The website is like a little brother or sister to the main Hill West site. It's here to give you an insight into all the events and how the P.T.F.A (Parents , Teachers and Friends Association) operates in relation to all these events.

What is the P.T.F.A ?
The P.T.F.A and all its helpers is a group of volunteers who give their time to help organize special events for Hill West School. Its primary function is to bring together the community to enjoy what it creates. Everything revolves around our children that attend Hillwest. It's about creating magical moments that our children will remember for years to come. It could be school disco, a Christmas Fayre or a Summer Fete. Whatever the event it's seeing our childrens faces light up with pride as they show off their school to the community, that is what inspires us to keep the P.T.F.A moving forward. The funds that are raised are also extremely important to Hill West and it's ongoing quest to provide an environment to motivate our children to learn and grow.
What could you do ?
There are lots of things you can do, from simply spreading the word about our website to actually being a part of the P.T.F.A.
Some commit a lot of time and are part of the P.T.F.A. Some just attend the meetings to get a feel of what it's all about and to share their opinions. Some people volunteer to help out at events. Some of the busier people with less time to spare contribute in other ways, giving raffle prizes or items for us to use to raise funds and some have certain skills that come in really handy from time to time, It's all about making the decision to contribute or help. Once that decision is made you can enjoy the feeling of connection and fulfilment that all P.T.F.A and it's helpers enjoy.
